- Catechist for young people (12-24 years) in my parish since 2015
- Weekly meetings with a group of about 15 young people
- Part of the pastoral council for youth ministry
- Sunday Mass is non-negotiable—it's where the week begins
What I do with them
- We read scripture and discuss what it means for their lives—not abstract theology
- We talk about real questions: relationships, doubt, meaning, choices
- We organize retreats, service projects, and moments of reflection
- I listen more than I teach. Their questions are often better than my answers.
